NASPS 2022 COVID Guidelines

NASPS Commitment to Safety during the 2022 Annual Meeting

In order to protect our participants, the NASPS has adopted COVID guidelines similar to other recent fisheries* meetings.  We recommend that face masks are worn at all indoor meeting events.  We also strongly recommend that attendees wear masks while traveling to the conference.  We recognize that many attendees will be traveling from or through areas of “high” transmission rates of the newer variants.  We recognize that some of our colleagues provide care for other who are susceptible to COVID or are themselves in categories where infection could be potentially seriously harmful.

Speakers may remove their mask while giving their presentation.  Masks are recommended at evening indoor events except when you are actively eating or drinking.  Masks will not be expected outside or during the outdoor event on Tuesday evening at the City Lions Park.  Hotel staff will follow local regulations, but they have been asked to wear masks when directly working with the NASPS meeting space and food.

If you become ill while in Folsom, NASPS asks that you isolate yourself.
