The NASPS virtual meeting will be held from 7:45 AM-2:15 PM Pacific Standard Time (PST) on October 27, 7:45 AM-2:30 PM PST on October 28, and 7:45 AM-1:30 PM PST on October 29.
The NASPS is excited to offer 37 contributed presentations at the virtual meeting on the themes of Aquaculture and Conservation Propagation, Biology and Ecology, Bottlenecks to Recovery, Conservation Genetics, Management, Physiology, and Regulated Rivers. This also includes an update from the World Sturgeon Conservation Society. We are working to make the meeting as engaging as possible and will have interactive activities during the breaks between sessions. We will be giving two best student presentation awards, one for PhD and one for MS students. We will have a business meeting on Wednesday, October 28, where we will update membership of what the society has accomplished in the past year. Students will be offering a student:mentor Q&A panel (Tuesday), a student social (Wednesday), and on Thursday, a virtual raffle of exciting prizes! Further meeting details will be updated on the website and communicated via our listserv as they are finalized. We can’t wait to see you there!
