Donations of Raffle Items for the NASPS Annual Meeting

The 2016 North American Sturgeon and Paddlefish Society (NASPS) annual conference is being held September 19 – 22 in Hood River, Oregon. The NASPS seeks to understand current declines in sturgeon and paddlefish populations across North America and is dedicated to promoting the conservation and restoration of these species by developing and advancing research pertaining to their biology, management, and utilization. The society recognizes the importance of local, national, and international government organizations, educational institutions, nongovernmental organizations, and the general public through publications, professional meetings, and community events.

We are requesting donations of raffle items we can use to help raise funds at our annual meeting. The NASPS activities are currently supported solely by membership fees. The proceeds from the raffle will be used to fund the student Subunit which includes two travel awards for students to attend our annual meeting and other student activities. With your donation, please include your name and/or business card so that we may properly acknowledge your generosity. Any donation would be greatly appreciated. Should you have any questions regarding this request, please contact Joshua Schulze (USA; jschu194@uwsp.edu; 715-303-8256) or Forrest Bjornson (Canada; forrestbjornson@gmail.com).

Thank you in advance for supporting the NASPS’s education and conservation efforts by donating a prize for the raffle.
